Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Rohnert Park Transmission & Auto Repair ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of our automotive repair services, website, and related services.
By accessing our website, scheduling an appointment, or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

Services are subject to availability, vehicle compatibility, and our professional assessment. We reserve the right to decline service if we determine it is unsafe or beyond our capabilities.
Appointments and Scheduling
Appointment Policy
- •Appointments can be scheduled by phone at (707) 584-7727 or through our online booking system
- •We recommend scheduling appointments in advance, especially for complex services
- •Drop-off service is available with advance notice
- •Wait times may vary based on service complexity and shop capacity
Cancellation and Rescheduling
We understand that schedules change. Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule:
- •Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations
- •Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a service fee
- •We reserve the right to refuse future appointments for repeated no-shows
Service Estimates and Time
Estimated completion times are provided in good faith but may vary due to unforeseen issues, parts availability, or additional work needed. We will notify you promptly if significant delays occur or additional repairs are discovered.
Pricing and Payment Terms
Estimates and Pricing
All service estimates are provided in good faith based on our initial inspection and diagnostic assessment. Pricing includes parts and labor unless otherwise specified.

- •Diagnostic fees may apply and will be disclosed upfront
- •Additional repairs discovered during service will be communicated for approval
- •Prices subject to change based on parts availability and market conditions
Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, cash, and checks. Payment is due upon completion of service unless financing arrangements have been made in advance.

Vehicle Hold for Non-Payment
We reserve the right to retain possession of your vehicle until payment is received in full. California law permits automotive repair facilities to place a mechanic's lien on vehicles for unpaid services.
Authorization and Consent
Work Authorization
By scheduling service or leaving your vehicle with us, you authorize us to:
- •Perform diagnostic tests and inspections as necessary
- •Road test your vehicle before and after service
- •Perform approved repairs and maintenance
- •Obtain necessary parts from suppliers
Important: Additional work beyond the original estimate requires your explicit approval. We will contact you for authorization before performing any additional repairs that exceed the original estimate by more than $100 or 10%, whichever is less, as required by California law.
Warranties and Guarantees

Workmanship Warranty
We guarantee our workmanship for 12 months or 12,000 miles (whichever comes first) on most repairs. Warranty coverage varies by service type and is detailed on your repair invoice.
Parts Warranty
Parts are covered by manufacturer warranties, which vary by part and manufacturer. We will assist you with warranty claims for defective parts.
Warranty Exclusions
Warranties do not cover:
- • Damage caused by accidents, abuse, or neglect
- • Normal wear and tear items (brake pads, wiper blades, etc.)
- • Repairs performed by other facilities after our service
- • Vehicles used for racing, commercial hauling, or off-road use
- • Failure to follow recommended maintenance schedules
Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim, contact us immediately at (707) 584-7727. You must present your original repair invoice and the vehicle must be returned to our facility for inspection.
Liability and Disclaimers
Limitation of Liability
While we exercise reasonable care in performing our services, we cannot be held liable for:
- •Pre-existing damage or defects not disclosed or discoverable during inspection
- •Consequential damages (lost wages, rental car costs, etc.) unless explicitly agreed in writing
- •Damage to severely corroded, rusted, or previously damaged parts
- •Failure of related components not part of the original repair
- •Items left in the vehicle (we recommend removing all personal belongings)
Maximum Liability
Our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the service that gave rise to the claim. This limitation applies to all claims, whether based on warranty, contract, negligence, or any other legal theory.
Vehicle Storage
We provide reasonable security for vehicles on our premises, but we are not responsible for:
- •Theft, vandalism, or damage from natural disasters or acts of God
- •Personal items left in the vehicle
- •Damage to aftermarket accessories or modifications
Vehicles left on our premises for more than 30 days after service completion may be subject to storage fees.
Notice: Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. These Terms give you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you agree to:
Provide accurate information about your vehicle's symptoms, history, and previous repairs
Disclose any modifications, aftermarket parts, or warranty coverage
Remove valuable items and personal belongings from your vehicle
Respond promptly to requests for authorization on additional repairs
Pay for services in full upon completion unless other arrangements have been made
Pick up your vehicle within a reasonable time after service completion
Follow recommended maintenance schedules to maintain warranty coverage
Report any concerns or issues with completed work immediately

Arbitration
Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally may be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Arbitration shall take place in Sonoma County, California, and judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in Sonoma County, California.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Rohnert Park Transmission & Auto Repair or our licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Website Use
You may view, download, and print content from our website for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, or exploit our content for commercial purposes without our express written permission.
Trademarks

Changes to These Terms

Severability and Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Warranty Information, and any service-specific agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rohnert Park Transmission & Auto Repair regarding the use of our services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals.
Waiver
No waiver of any term or condition of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term. Our failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
